Hi Pranay,

Check the SAP note 1329247:

You cannot delete a service process in CRM. The service process must be archived.

Call transaction SARA and select the archiving object CRM_SERORD.

Archiving involves three steps:

a) Initial run Report CRM_ARC_SERORD_CHECK

b) Write run Report CRM_ARC_SERORD_SAVE

c) Delete run Report CRM_ARC_SERORD_DELETE

When the delete run has completed, the service process has been deleted from the database and is in an archive file.

You can access archived documents using transaction SARE.

Dear Pranay,

To delete the basis part of a support desk message please follow note

566225. The CRM part can be archived with transaction SARA and the

archiving object CRM_SERORD. For CRM test messages alternatively the

report CRM_ORDER_DELETE can be used.

If the CRM Support Desk messages include an item (as e.g. with the

delivered standard settings of transaction type SLF1) the described

behaviour of report CRM_ORDER_DELETE is correct and conform to the

standard behaviour of the SAP CRM:

CRM transactions that include items with the status 'Completed' or

'Released' can not be deleted.

If e.g. in a support desk message of transaction type SLF1 the status

'In Process' is set the item of the message automatically gets the

status 'Released'. Analog for the item the status 'Completed' is set

when the status of the message is set to 'Completed'. Therefore messages

that once had the status 'In Process' can not be deleted anymore. Such

transactions only can be archived.

To Archive please refere to SAP Note 1329247 Archiving Solution Manager Service Desk message

Paul
