APO BW QUESTIONAIRE plz

hi experts,

We are going for APO BW Implementation soon, we had a meeting with client and they want us to send any questions related to APO BW Integration.

can you provide some of the Questions we have to ask.

That depends upon what you mean by "APO BW Implementation". Do you want to do something in the APO BW, or are you trying to integrate APO with an enterprise BW?

APO has its own BW, which is normally used mainly to support Supply Network Planning and Demand Planning. Beyond that usage, and any reporting that would support that usage, the sky is the limit. You have to find out exactly what the client wants to see in his solution.

For a list of generic questions (not just BW) to ask, log onto your company's Solution manager, and review the default Q&A database with transaction SQADB01, or just review the contents of table SQADB01 using SE16.

Hi,

The basic questions may revolve around the followings:

1. The master data objects (for DP) ex: 9AMATNR updation from ECC or other system (like BW)

2. The sales history data flow (from ECC or other system to APO-BW)

3. The forecast calculation (calculation either in APO or import from other applications)

4. Backup cubes for storing the keyfigure data (Time series) ex: Forecast, proportional factors etc

5. Remote cube for Pure BW use for reporting purpose.

It is not limited to above...but above are typical usage.
