SRM JAVA and EP server

Hi,

We are working on SRM 7.0. We have installed SRM Java. My query is that can we use the portal instance delivered with SRM JAVA or do I need to go with a separate instance of Portal? Also pl let me know how to install SRM content on portal.

Hi,

You can deploy LAC and Portal on AS Java server.

FYI.

NetWeaver Business Client browser is available to access SRM without Portal.

LAC runs on ABAP VMC from SRM 7.0 EhP1.

We have SRM 7.0 Ehp1.

So LAC wont run on Java Server from SRM 7.0 Ehp 1...you mean to say?

I mean you have a choice. LAC runs on AS Java and/or AS ABAP. ABAP is new option from EhP1.

And what about Portal Content? I have told my basis team to install the Business Packages of SRM 7.0 on the portal instance.

What else do I need to tell them in order to see SRM 7.0 content when I login as a portal admin?
