Partner dependent data in SNC5.1

What is the use of partner dependent data used in SNC5.1?

Do this is useful during PROACT mapping?

--Maintain Partner dependent partner data

--Maintain partner dependent location data

--Maintain partner dependent product data

Hi Vaibhav

Partner dependant data is mainly used by supplier/customer user. Supllier's user may not be aware of the R/3 material or plant code or they are comfortable working with their own product or location code. In this case they define their own product code for corrosponding SAP product code. Once they do this they can user thieir product code while searching for documents in SNC. They can create selection screen variants with thier own product code.

So partner dependant data is mainly used so that suppler user feel comfortable working in SNC web UI. I am not sure about the usage of same for PROACT mapping.

I believe there are tags within the ProAct message, which you could link to these partner definitons. So lets say customer reports their proact data in their internal IDs, i belive there is under item tag a buyerID that you could use for instance.

Also there are ohter things which you setup thru these transactions, such as purchasing group assignments and such..
