Need help downloading SAP ECC6 IDES Installation from SAP.

Hello,

Need help in what all files I need to download from SAP Market place for ECC6 IDES. I went through SAP Market place but was not able to figure out which all files i need to download to install SAP ECC6 IDES as there were too many files. So if somebody could help me with the list of all files that should be downlladed for ECC6 Installation.

Any help is much appreciated.

Hello, I'm new here

I would like to install a "IDES SAP ERP6.0 with ehp4" on HP-UX ia64 using oracle database.

The export DVD I have already downloaded, but I haven't found master DVD!

Do I need to order the Master-dvd separately, or can I download the dvd somewhere?

Hi,

you need to download below DVD's:

1) Installation Master DVD

2) Installation Export DVD

3) RDBMS DVD

4) RDBMS Client DVD

5) Kernel DVD

Hi,

You need to download al DVDs with respect to your OS and DB.

Yes, RDBMS means Oracle if you want to use Oracle.

Hi,

The RDBMS DVD will have the installation master/ setup.exe for DB installation.

The Installation master DVD will have the SAP system installation file. SAPINST.exe is what you need.

Ensure JDK is installed on the host before running SAPINST.

It does not have OS installation file. That you need to access OS vendor. Rest is all included in above list.

RDBMS means whatever database you want to install like oracle or db2 etc.
