Storage Bin Capacity

Hi Gurus,

In my scenario I have WM and Im checking bin capacity, everything works fine but I have materials 5 which are very large, these materials can only be placed using physically 2 storage bins, It is handled in pallets because phisically is a pallet, but it has extra large dimension so it uses 2 storage bins (the one assigned by the system and the one next to it) so how can I configure this?

How to tell the system that the next bin is also use so in a future receipe system knows this is not available??

Hi

You could place these two bins in to a unique st section and then create a section strategy and apply this to the material masters for these materials so that they will be directed there and no other material will be,

Hi,

There's no std way of blocking an empty bin because the space is allocated by the stock from next door. Why don't you use fixed bins for these 5 materials? Then you create 1 SAP bin which consists of 2 physical bins?
