Re: Reference Customer

Hello everyone

In our current system, Customers are created in SAP CRM system as consumers. Their Sales Area is created using Sales Area Templates created in SAP CRM.

Now we have also setup Reference customer in ECC & maintained all the Sales Area for the customer in ECC.

Whenever a Consumer created in CRM system has a different Ship to Party, Sales View is not maintained separately for the SH in CRM.

Instead the Sales Area data for the SH is picked up from the Reference Customer maintained in ECC.

Now recently we uncovered that due to the Reference Customer maintained in ECC, we are able to create Sales Orders for a SP who is not even extended to those Sales Areas.

My questions is whether it is possible to restrict the creation of the Sales Orders only for the Sales Areas for which the customer is extended to (this is ideally the standard SAP behaviour if the Reference Customer was not maintained in VD07).

Need clarity ?

Thanks

Option1 : Maintain a transaction variant for VA01 transaction and make sales area as mandatory.

Option 2: in userexit MV45AFZB in Form userexit_check_vbak, have code to check if the entered sold to is available in the sales order sales area.
