Restricted availability of sapgui

I'm not able to download versions of sapgui any more; I have an S-User (gained on a certification course) but apparently without download authority. At least, when I follow links I get error messages like

{quoteCustomer Information

You have navigated to a point where there are no downloads available for your account.

Possible reasons may be:

  • Missing or incomplete software licenses/data base licenses

  • Restricted availability of several application components"{quote}

I'm intending to try out the Link: [testdirve here|http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/downloads?rid=/library/uuid/60d6c8b7-5d8f-2910-31bf-ebdf74fefd8b] but I can't find a 64 bit gui to go with it.

Perhaps I'm missing something, but I don't see what use the server software is without the gui.

Hello,

maybe [SAP note 1037574|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1037574] provides the information you need.

Neil,

Is there a question?

SAPGUI is licensed software, just like ERP or CRM. If you are asking how to get SAPGUI without buying the license for SAPGUI, I speculate that it is unlikely that you will get the answer in any SAP sponsored forum.

I agree with DB49. Your S-ID needs permissions to access the downloads.

I would also like to add that there is no SAPGUI 64bit available at this time. Only 32bit.
