SAProuter on x86_64 turn off

Former Member

Hello

I've installed two SAProuter on Linux (one on Debian Wheezy and one on CentOS 5.5).

From time to time one SAProuters turn off without any intelligible cause.

What could be the cause of the SAProuter turning off?

As workaround I started a cron job that checks and start the SAProuter.

Thank you and regards,

Tommaso

You can try to increase the trace level to check if you can find the cause... If you use option -V3 you have the highest trace level. Default is 1.

Thank you Mark.

The option -V3 was already set. But because of the automatic restart the trace get lost.

Now I'll do a copy before the start.

I noticed that the saprouter turn off every night at exactly the same time: 01:30 CET.

Is that normal?

Thank you

Can you check the Windows scheduler is some process is scheduled that cancels the saprouter? Or is your system rebooted every night?

To saveguard the log, you could write a script that regularly fetches the contents of the log and writes it to another file.

Kind regards,

Mark
