Integrating Value added services into Sales and distribution

HI,

I have a design issue that we think may be addressed by integrating Value added service orders into our SD process. e.g when we take a customer order and they say they want an extra label on each bag we need to:

1. Price the order for the service

2. Plan the procurement of the labels

3. PLan the WM activitiy

4. Execute the VAS order in the warehouse

5. Bill the customer for the service. .

Has anyone addressed a similar requirement in SD ? What funstionality did you you to intergrate the Sales order process with the VAS order ?

ANy help much appreciated

Stew

Hi Stewart

I was wondering if you found a solution on how to handle your described scenario. I have the same issue as you and am struggling finding a good solution.

On the logistics execution part it is possible to use the VAS functionality, but don't know how to handle VAS on the customer/sales order part. I would like to be able to default a VAS on a customer, adapting it to the sales orders of the customer - or setting it manually on the sales order - and also being able to price it.

If you - or any other - have any input, it would be much appreciated.

Regards,

Merete
