WMS Dynamic cycle counting issue ..

Hello,

I am using dynamic cycle count process.

In LX 22 my inventory status is counted (Z) and inventory is inactive.

But when I am trying to activate the inventory I am getting below message

u201CFunction code can not be selectedu201D.

How can I activate the inventory so that I will be able proceed further for LI20 and LI21?

Hi

If your inventory status is as Counted, you cannot onceagain activate the document which is already in active mode, so try Clearing that from LI20 & LI21, then start your physical inventory afresh from LX16/LX22 as per your counting cycle dates set.

Hello,

I am using dynamic cycle counting process. My PI document is not active. In DCC we can count even though PI is not active.

When I am trying to activate it I am getting above error. Please advice.

Hello,

I even can not proceed for recount . System ask me to activate the inventory. And when I am going to activate the inventory I get above error " Functional code can not be selected". I get this error only in case of Dynamic cycle counting.

Any body has the solution of this issue? Waiting for the response.

Hi Milind,

In DCC, you cannot activate a PI document until all the open TOs on that storage bin are completed. If there are open TOs on that storage bin, the PI document cannot be activated. Without activating it, we cannot create a recount version or clear that PI document.

So, look for the open TOs on that bin and complete them. Then you can proceed further with creation of recount or clearing the document
