SMD Agent for iSeries V5R4M0

Dear Experts

We are in the process of configuring SAP ECC 6.0 running on iSeries platform on Solution Manager for Service desk, Change Management and E2E analysis. As the first step of this process we are trying to download SMD Agent for iSeries. Went through the URL http://service.sap.com/diagnostics and notes 1234387, 1365123 and 1368413. Still we are unable to find the SMD agent for iSeries. Kindly help in this regard.

SMD Diagnostics agent 7.20 for OS/400 available at:

http://service.sap.com/swdc -> browse software catalogue -> SAP Technology Components -> SAP SOLUTION MANAGER -> SAP SOLUTION MANAGER 7.0 EHP 1 -> Entry by Component -> Agents for managed systems

Thanks for the reply. I got the file. Only one doubt, Is it ok to install 7.2 in our machine running with OS V5R4 and ECC 6.0. Could you pls tell where can I find the procedure for installation of this version.

Hi Harish,

For the SMD agent 7.00 SR3 installation, maybe the note 1152593 could be of help.

Also, newer version of SMD should be fine. Procedure for this version would be as in Note 1368413.
