Hi,
can someone let me know how suppliers access the SRM RFx url & submit the response to the srm server. how can the RFx url be accessible outside of the internal network. is there anything we need to do as part of the installation.
Thanks!
Hi,deb :
In SRM 7.0 ,there are many roles in portal ,and you can assign the bid role to the bidder ,and in EBP create the user .When the bidder logon the portal ,he will see the view about bidding !

Hi,
Are you on SRM 7.0?
If yes, then bidders can access your normal portal that is used by the users.
However what they see will be based on roles. Hence with 'Bidder' role they will be able to submit Rfx response in SRM server. This 'Bidder' role in backend should be mapped with 'Rfx respondent' role in Portal.

Hi,
EXT_ITS attribute is not required in SRM 7. Yes vendors can access the same URL which you are using. Just ask your basis team to expose the URL on the internet may be through a web dispatcher.
Also Vendor registration URL is a BSP page : ROS_SELF_REG. You need to maintain entries in HTTPURLLOC table to expose this BSP registration page on the internet.

Hi Nikhil RGupta
We are also running into same issue.
Bidders/Vendor use a different Portal to access same SRM 7
Can you tell us how we can use httpurlloc table or some other way URL is redirected back to external Portal instead of internal one?
Note Vendors only user Bidder Application and internal users use SC and Strategic Purchaser when the login via internal Portal.
Thank You
Nikhil

EXT_ITS attributes in PPOMA_BBP. Hope the URL maintained here . so BIDDER can access the BI and submit the response.
Bidders have limited access to SRM system . They can peep others window in SRM . SRM is a role based application.
