Hi,

We are running on SRM 7.0 & ECC 6.0(Ehp 3). Will this work? As in will the P2P scenario work? Basic shopping cart creation - PO - GR - IV?

Is it mandatory to have Ehp 4?

Regards

Procure to Pay is addressed in the release note for ECC 6 EHP 3. So I believe it is supported there.

Hi,

SRM 7.0 supports backend connection from R/3 4.7 to the latest.

New functions like service hierarchy handling work with only EhP4.

Hi,

Assuming I have SRM 7.0 & ECC 6.0 (Ehp 3) working fine and then I decide to upgrade to Ehp 4.0. What changes will I have to make on SRM side then. As in new OSS notes, new Business Packages for Portal, PI etc?

Hi,

It depends on your current scope and which new function are you going to use.

You need to maintain "Define System Landscape" customize when backend system is changed.

If you are classic mode, please note PO creation is via ESOA with EhP4 for supporting service hierarchy.

Release note help you to check new functions.

So in Classic scenario, PO wont be created through RFC call of BAPI_PO_CREATE1? Will we have to activate business functions and event linkage for PO creation in ECC?

PO creation in Classic

with ERP 6.0 EhP3 and lower -> BAPI

with ERP 6.0 EhP4 and higher -> ESOA

PO creation via ESOA is automatic or do we need to make any config settings for this with ECC 6.0 Ehp4?
