SRM-CAT "Upgrade Configuration" in tc~mdm~srmcat~uiutil/Utilities

MDM People,

We have applied a patched version of the MDM Server, Import Server, MDM JAVA API and CATALOG to our MDM Development system.

We went from SRM-MDM Catalog SP04 to 5.5 SP04 patch 16.

Just a small patch.

During the upgrade process I tried to run the "Upgrade Configuration" process from the web app located at http://srvr:50000/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/tcmdmsrmcat~uiutil/Utilities

I expect that I don't need to run this, but please read on anyway...

However, when I click the button "Upgrade Configuration" I get a large list of "Repository Configuration Files" that will be upgraded.

Some of them seem to be for catalogs that don't even exist.

So I click the "Start Upgrade" button and I get a nice J2EE "Java.lang.NullPointerException" error page.

I suspect that somehow, someone has removed a repository that no longer exists but the config is still there in the J2EE engine.

My question is:

Where are these "Repository Configuration Files" stored? and how can I validate what I have?

Thanks.

Probably, but the process works in QA, even if it doesn't upgrade anything it still completes successfully.
