Configuring RFC for MDM 7.1 ABAP API connectivity

How to configure RFC connection for MDM API 7.1 ?

The RFC connection MDM_API_GEN_MDM_SERVER is not working .

When I'm trying to connect it is showing an error:

Error when opening RFC connection

ERROR program *******.MDS not registered

Check whether JCO Destination is configured properly.
