SRM Org Structure Objects - O, BP, S, CP and US

Hi Experts ,

We are configuring SRM7.0 with ECC6 ( Ehp4) having Classic Scenario and NOT having any integration with HR.

When I integarte any user in SRM Org Structure from USERS_GEN with option" Craete EBP user with existing SU01", then SAP the hierarchy of object is

O ( Organization) along with BP Number ,

S ( Position)

CP ( Central Person) along with BP Number ,

And all application works fine .

But in some documention or some SAP Material I read or saw that it is

O

S

CP

US

or some wher different.

Can any one suggest/ confirm me , exactly which is correct and what is the logic and implication behind this ? If we don;t see US in above hierarchy , then there will be any issue ?

Hi Narendra,

The Normal org hierarchy display in SRM 7 does not drill till US and you will see only O , S , CP with user id. But if you search for user id and then expand the hierarchy you will see it correctly .

so the hierarchy remains the same in SRM 7.0 just view has changed.

i think you may refer to old version of SRM 4.0 screens.Organnisation data

with US detail - user

This is fine because CP will have a user id assigned to it, hence there is no need to have a separate US relation.
