QA 11 Can not post to un-restricted stock

USer encountered issue during Inspection lot creation (QA 32)- it turned out that the Inspection plan was not created for the material so it was addressed and then also changed the Inspection lot creation date to curent date and was able to successfully create Inspection lot.

Later at QA11 now user is not able to post to unrestricted stock as the option is greyed out, inspite out Accepting( A under UD code) and updating SLED to future date.Can anyone please help we need to move stock to unrestrcited and the allocate/ship to customer.Thanks

Check the Inspection lot status? Does it say SPRQ or SPST?

If not

verify in MMBE - Stock is still in Quality status.

If yes, try to use MB1B to post stock to un-restricted?

If Inspection lot status is SPRQ or SPST, let me know the inspection type.

Yes "Check Chars" indicator was set under QM view in Material Master so I have unchecked it now but another problem is that the user completed the Usage decision however the stock is still under quality inspection so not sure what to do now.Please advise

Hi,

You can do the stock posting with tcode QVM2 if the UD is done without stock posting.

This will complete the inspection lot.

Hi,

Are there not maybe any characteristics which you still need to complete? If not, is the QM view maintained correctly? Is the "Check Chars" indicator set? You only need to set "Insp with Task List" / "Post to insp Stock" / "Aut Assignment" if you only use an Inspection Plan for creating the inspection lots.

Check this and let us know.
