SOLMAN_SETUP in a new client

Hi,

Mistakenly, in client 001 we've run the SOLMAN_SETUP.

During this setup, I have skipped those steps necessary for Wily Introscope, Diagnostics, BI Contents.(No BI report is runned nor any content is activated)

Now I got realised that I should have done this is client 100.

Is it possible to re-run the SOLMAN_SETUP in client 100?

Will there be any impact on doing this?

Your advise will be of great help to me.

The Solman_Setup should be executed only on the productive client and that could be 001 or 100, whatever that you have disignated as productive client. In your case, if the productive client is 100, then you can execute it again. I hope that helps you to proceed further, thanks.

Hi,

yes it should be possible to restart the Solman_Setup in client 100.

You have to change the working client for BW (field BWMANDT in table rsadmina).

And please check the settings for the j2ee stack (connection in configtool).

There will be no impact. You can execute that in 100 client.
