Destination folder search capability - cFolder

Hi All,

We have implemented the cFolder in our organization. Our business team has come up with following requirement to make it easy for them while selecting the destination folder during the export of objects such as DIR , BOM and MM from SAP R3.

We are exporting the data objects (DIR, MM & BOM) from SAP R3 system to cFolder using the transaction code CFE02.

During the execution of Tcode, we need to select the destination folder for the object to be exported. We have thousands of scenario and folders and its becomes very deifficult for the business users to drill down to the correct destination folder.

Is it possible to develope some kind search capability for the selection of destination folder?

for example: If user knows the destination folder say "XYZ" then prior to selection of destination folder from thousands of scenarios, he will search the folder based on *XYZ as search criteria and will get the related list of destination folder instead of thousands of folder.

Any inputs will be helpful.

Yogesh,

ask developer to make a new search help with folder id / description as search parameter.

Most probably you will need developer key as you would change the standard search help.

I dont hv system, bt i think you can find out the screen/field/search help using F1
