Error while transferring SRM Shopping cart to ECC as PREQ.

Hi, I am getting the following error message in RZ20 while transferring SRM SC to ECC to create P-REQ.

Shopping cart 0010000325 (PReq. 0200000062): BBP_PU 231 Backend system XXXXX is not available. Inform system admin.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi Prabuddha,

We have recently upgraded our ECC system to EHP6 and we are on SRM 7 with SP10. After system upgrade we have noticed this error message. None of the SC are creating PO or PR in ECC system. All SC are failing due to the error message BBP_PU 231 Backend system XXXXX is not available.  Inform system admin.

I am curious to know how did you resolve this issue? Is there any configuration to be done or is there any OSS note to fix this issue.Appreciate your help on this one.

Hi Prabuddha,

Could you please let me know how did your issue got resolved? We are having same error for Shopping carts created with Product type Service... All the configuration is in place but we are getting exact error message which you have mentioned.

is it isolated error i.e only one incident ?

can you resubmit the error . it may process again.
