Hi,

You can find the files in http://service.sap.com/swdc->; Support Packages and Patches-> My Company's Appln. Components-> SAP Kernel (32/64 bit) ( Unicode/ Non unicode) depending on the version of your system.

To apply the patch in kernel, perform the following steps:

1. Take a backup of the usr\sap\<SID>\SYS\exe folder in a temporary folder.

2. Stop SAP system thru SAP MMC.

3. Stop SAPOSCOL service in services.msc

4. Download the 2 .SAR files for kernel ( OS Dependant and OS Independant) depending on the OS-DB combination fo your system, extract the files in a temporary folder.

5. Copy paste the contents into usr\sap\<SID>\SYS>\exe folder.

6. Bring up the SAPOSCOL service and SAP system.

Hi,

You need to apply the new sap kernel for your 7.0 release as mention in the note to fix the issue.

7.00: corrected as of patch 264 (Kernel Patch)

7.01: corrected as of patch 102

Hi,

You mentioned the system being a NW 7.0.

Note 1489566 mentions the required patch level is 264 or higher.

Apply kernel patch 264 or higher. The DBSL would be a part of the new kernel.
