Emails appear to vanish from SOST

Today, I had 42 emails queued in SOST.

I sent them all, and they all delivered as expected.

However........

SOST now only shows 27 emails "sent", the other 15 emails appear to be vanished into thin air.

To confirm, the emails have sent and been received by the recipient, but the log does not display them anymore.

There is no record of the email ever existing.

Has anyone seen this type of behaviour before? Does SAP have a lower level log of the emails being sent?

Any input would be helpful.

It might sound simple but did you check the date range on SOST?, if the message creation date is out kf the scope they wont show up.

So easy, so obvious!

The date range said 08-02-2011 to 09-02-2011 and all 42 emails were on the queue.

Once they sent, I've had to change the date range to show them all.

So SAP shows all unsent email regardless of the date range, well well you learn something new every day!
