We have some "shares" (on windows) where are located the archive files generated for the archiving processes, the space reserved for them is over; So we needo to move the old archived files to a new repository, but the new location will have some technical diferences. Actually the old server has 2Tb disks and the new one will have 500 Gb, then we will need at least 4 disks to ensure enough space for the old archive files.
My doubt is:
if I have one disk with 5 shares (shared folder for archive files called N1, N2, N3, N4, N5)
Does windows support the same share name on different disks at the same time?
Thanks for your help
Rolando.
