Completely new, don't have access to SAP software at all. My customer wants me to enhance my software product with accessing and displaying/printing in it some basic info extracted from their own currently running SAP module - e.g. the module name and current user name, very basic stuff only. From a little reading I did on this web site, I see that this could be done with SAP GUI scripting.
Is there a program for very small developers at SAP - to get maybe a "toy SAP" setup on my computer, plus scripting module, so that I could develop my own scripts and make them send required info to my own product? Something that would give me all the tools at say below $1000 price? Will very much appreciate any pointers on how this could be achieved. Thank you!
