vendor field as required for SRM 7.0

Hello,

when we are creating a Shopping Cart, I need to put vendor field as mandatory for some categories in SAP SRM 7.0

I know how to do it in SAP SRM 4.0, however they change it in this version...

How about using meta data customizing?

SRM -> SRM Server -> Cross-Application Basic Settings -> Extensions and Field Control (Personalization)

Hello,

Have you tried to use BBP_DOC_CHECK_BADI?

Depending on the product category, you can check if vendor field is empty. If so, an error message would be raised.

Hi,

You can set class and method in field control customize, if there is some condition.

I think check badi is easy to implement.
