Master Password for user DDIC or SAP*

Hi,

I installed Netweaver 7.0 EHP1 SR1 under LINUX (SUSE). During installation I was asked for the master password, which I did. After the installation, I am trying to logged in with either SAP* or DDIC with the master password, system says "Incorrect username/password"

What steps make me enable to logged in into the new system?

Hi,

I think you are entering the wrong password after the installation.

Do 1 thing, delete the SAP* user from the database level and then login with pass as password.

Hi Nirmal,

1. I am entering the same password which I entered during the Installation as I am able to logged in into my database with the same master password. (My Database is MAXDB).

2. I deleted the sap* user from table usr01, stop the SAP instance, restart the SAP instance but facing the same problem.

Hi,

Delete SAP* user entry from table usr02. Restart the system and then login with UN: sap* and pwd: pass.
