Hi,
I get the foll text in the popup:
"Information you can exchange with this site cannot be viewed or changed by others. However, there is a problem with the site's security certificate.
The security certificate was issued by a company you have not chosen to trust.View the certificate to determine whether you want to trust the certifying authority.
The security certificate date is valid.
The security certificate has a valid name matching the name of the page you are trying to view.
Do you want to proceed?
Yes No View Certificate "

OK. so here is what i understand,
from se80 if you right click ->test you dont face this issue, but while calling from portal, its forcing the system to https mode right?
if yes.
i guess in the system definition of your SRM system in portal, undert ITS settings,
ITS protocol is set as HTTPS, change it to HTTP.
ITS host : <srmhost>.domain.com:port
ITS path : /sap/bc/gui/sap/its/
<b>ITS protocol : HTTP</b>

navigate to your service in SICF.
double click on the service which will open a popup and choose the "Error Pages" tab.
you would see that system logon radio button is selected. click the settings button next to it now check the "no toggle to HTTPs' check box and do not display warnings check box.
