Hi Disha,

Perhaps I understood something wrong.

Could you please outline which alert you get exactly.

Thanks and regards,

Hi,

I get the foll text in the popup:

"Information you can exchange with this site cannot be viewed or changed by others. However, there is a problem with the site's security certificate.

The security certificate date is valid.

The security certificate has a valid name matching the name of the page you are trying to view.

check in SICF whether client certificate required radiobutton is selected for your service.

in the same area under security requirements box make sure standard radiobutton is selected.

check in SMICM->go to->services, is HTTPS is active, if so you can deactivate the same.

if the system is (both https and http can be active in the system and you can use any one of them) forcing the HTTPS url when you test your service from SE80, the possible reason could be

in se80->utilities->settings->ITS->test service "USE HTTPS" is checked.

Hi raja,

I checked in SICF.Under "Security requirements",Client Cert required is unchecked and Standard is checked.

Also in SE80,the HTTPS is not set to active.

But the prob i think is in SMICM.There i can see HTTP and HTTPS active. How can i change that setting in SMICM?

OK. so here is what i understand,

from se80 if you right click ->test you dont face this issue, but while calling from portal, its forcing the system to https mode right?

if yes.

i guess in the system definition of your SRM system in portal, undert ITS settings,

ITS protocol is set as HTTPS, change it to HTTP.

ITS host : <srmhost>.domain.com:port

ITS path : /sap/bc/gui/sap/its/

<b>ITS protocol : HTTP</b>

Hi,

No..But when i open it thru IE,then also the same pop up comes! Also, as i said ,in SMICM,both http and https are active. Is there any way i can deactivate https?

May be for EP,the settings which you mentioned will work but what should we do when we open thru IE?

Hi raja,

If i deactivate the HTTPS from SMICM,then i get the message "No switch to HTTPS done.So its unsafe to enter the password" on the Login page!

Now to remove this message do i need to do some specific setting in SICF?

Sorry for the delay. i was on vacation.

Now you need to follow the steps explained by Dieter Weick to remove the message from appearing.

Hi Raja,

Which steps exactly are you talking about?

navigate to your service in SICF.

double click on the service which will open a popup and choose the "Error Pages" tab.

you would see that system logon radio button is selected. click the settings button next to it now check the "no toggle to HTTPs' check box and do not display warnings check box.

Hi Disha,

The settings "No Toggle to HTTPS" and "Do Not Display Warnings" should do the trick.

In addition SAP note 778488 might be of interest.

Hi,

I have tried the settngs "Do Not Display Warnings" but no success!

Also i am unable to see the check box for "No Toggle to HTTPS".

The mentioned note says to modify the Class "CL_SRM_ICF_BASIC_LOGIN" but there to i couldnt find anything specific to HTTPS!
