How to display a SAP instance profile from a JAVA system ?

Former Member

Dear SAP,

I have to change icm/HTTP/max_request_size_KB instance profile in my EP system.

I know that I have to add this parameter into X:\usr\sap\SID\SYS\profile\SID_SCS01_hostname file.

But how can I display the current instance parameter value ?

In an ABAP system, there is RZ10.

Where may I find - graphically - this parameter value in a JAVA standalone system ?

Please also note that this is a NWDI 7.01.

Thanks

HI

You must to use a text editor

Check this info:

Dear William,

Thanks for your input, but :

1. RZ10 does not exist in a JAVA standalone system.

2. I want to see the value of this parameter, but not by editing a the instance profile name in notepad for example.

My question is :

In a ABAP system you have RZ10 to see instance parameters values.

What is the corresponding functionality to see the instance parameter value of a JAVA standalone system, without using

a editor ?

Best regards

There is none, but there are only very few parameters that apply on a java system. You have to edit the profile files directly. Be aware that message server and enqeue parameters need to be changed in the SCS profile.

On a EP, log to portal as an administrator( shud hav relevant role for System Admin)

Goto --> System Administration --> system configuration --> service configuration --> on the service configuration Editor you will see Component Configuration (Editable)
