Webdynpro Java or ABAP

Hello,

I have worked on several ESS/MSS implementaions based on Webdynpro Java/NWDS/NWDI. Now since SAP is converting all of them to Webdynpro ABAP ,also the new SRM Package is in Webdynpro ABAP. So should I move and learn Webdynpro ABAP or else what are other career options in Webdynpro Java.

I have'nt worked on KM,Collaboration,Composition Environment.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Hi,

Its always good to learn new technologies as it adds up to your capabilities and hence increases the chances in career. As you have already worked on WD java, you can learn WD ABAP in lesser time as the concepts are similar , but you need to make urself familier with ABAP coding.Surely there are more objects from SAP coming up on WD Abap.

You can also go with portal developments based on CE(BPM, ERS, CAF etc), Administration and configuration of EP.

Define a goal where you want to be 2 years from now and choose accordingly.
