HI All,
Can I use the tcode SXMB_MONI in both R3 and XI servers.
I know the significance of that tcode in XI, but what is the significance in R3?
In what situations we ll use that tcode in R3?
However, When I give that tcode in R3, it says that Tcode doesnot exist.
Please make me clear on this.
thanks,
satish kumar
Hi Satish,
What Michael mentioned was correct. We use SXMB_MONI in XI for monitoring XI messages and
in R/3 for monitoring Proxies.
If your XI scenario makes use of Proxy, then this comes in to picture. But unless R/3 is configured for using proxies, you will not be able to view the same. It goe swell with the tcode - "sproxy" also.
Hope the information was helpful.
Best Regards,
Ram.

Hi ,
SXMB_MONI is standard tcode for XI only for monitoring messages. This is not used in R/3 system.

Hi,

sure it is
to monitor abap proxies
it's like We02/We05 for idocs
BTW
WAS 6.20 and 6.40 have local integration engines
(that allow to use abap proxies)
so in a way each of them in a little bit of XI too
briefly saying of course:)

Hi,
if your r3 can use proxies (r3 >= WAS 6.20)
then you can use sxmb_moni to monitor
proxy flows (abap proxies)
but even for 6.20 you need a certain path
to use abap proxies
for 6.40 it's a standard
