Hi,
I am new to SAP.
I have installed NWDS.I want to add functions to an existing Business Objects in CRM 5.0. I have gone through few links and came to know SLD needs to be configured. I have some doubts here.
1) First of all, Why do we need to configure SLD and how is this connected to import business objects into NWDS.
2) What is the process to be followed to enhance Business objects.
Please give the needed pointers.
Regards,
Eureka.

Hi ,
SLD is the central information repository for your system landscape.SLD is used to create technical systems and business systems..products and components and these can be used in development tools like Integration Builder and Integration Directory..
how is this connected to import business objects into NWDS.
I think there is no connection between SLD and NWDS.
NWDS is used to develop java programs and used to deploy into XI server.
Thanks,
Sekhar
