Data Migration from ECC 5.0 (IDES) to ECC 6.0

Hi,

I need all the data created in ECC 5.0 to be moved to ECC 6.0

Please help me with detailed steps to perform.

Hi,

You cannot move the data like that. In case you want to retain the data and need ECC 6.0, then the only option is to upgrade your system from 5.0 to 6.0 .

Upgrade of IDES system not supported.

IDES system can't be upgraded; technically you can run the upgrade but the system may no more function properly. See

Hi,

first of all You cannot move data between IDES system and normal ECC system. Second both the system are on different release, so, it is not possible to move data.
