Hi Experts,

We are getting the issue in our PI system that No communication channels are visible in the adapter engine in our PI devolopment system.

We had checked the following and all are working fine.

1) SLDCHECK successfull

2) SLDAPICUST successsfull

3) Cache is successfull

4) Tried to restart the J2EE application com.sap.aii.af.ms.app in NWA

but still getting same issue

5) All standard users like PI* users are not locked, all are fine

6) INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI connection is also working fine.

7) Tried with whole system including ABAP restart- getting the same

issue that Commnunication channel entries are not visisble in CC monitoring tab in AE.

Can you please guide us to fix this issue as it is impacting our interfaces testings.

Thanks in advacne

Srikanth

Hi,

>>>>>>> No communication channels are visible in the adapter engine.

You have to do full cache refresh, by using the below URL:

http://<host name>:<port>/CPACache/refresh?mode=full

I hope that, you will out of the issue.

Hi Rajesh,

Can you please let me know which user we need to use for this full cache refresh.

We tried with J2eeadmin and administrator but getting not authorised.

Thanks in advance

Hi Srikanth,

1. Do Cache connectivity test from the RWB, and check the status of IR and ID. If there are any issues, then do a complete cache refresh.

2. Try to do a dummy change and re-activate the communication channel and check if it works.

3. Check the adapter engine specified in the communication channel is correct or not?

Thanks,

Hi Hareen,

I have checked in RWB with cache connectivity test, there is no issue in this.

Also did full cache refersh and tried to create new CC even though its not visible in CC monitoring.

Any other suggestions please.

Thanks,

Srikanth

Hi Srikanth,

The issue is with the adapter engine components inconsistancies. After performing the full cache refresh it will take some time to reflect the channels even after that if you are not able to seee the channels then better ask your administrater to re register the adapter engine/self registering the adapter engine (note number 764176)....it worked for me.

Cheers!!

Naveen.
