Dear Experts,

I tried to setup the RFC connection for SAPOSS based on the following settings, but when I test connection, it failed.

Target system : OSS

Msg. Server : ... ( this where I stuck which I'm not sure what to fill in)

Group : EWA

Client : 001

User : OSS_RFC

Password : CPIC

Does anyone know the right settings?

Regards,

Abraham

Hi Abraham,

It's the easiest to change these settings via transaction oss1 -> parameter -> technical settings.

Just enter your saprouter details. The RFC connection details will be updated when saving your settings.

Kind regards,

Hello,

The Correct data is in SAP Note 182308 - Incorrect logon data in R/3 destination SAPOSS.

You can always recreate the RFC with OSS1

The best way to maintain SAPOSS is via settings in transaction OSS1, as described in note 33135.

It is recommended that SAPOSS also use 'Load distribution'; to achieve this use note 766505.

Also refere to SAP Note 763561 Service Data Control Center (SDCCN) - FAQ

Hi,

Message server should have the below entry.

/H/<You SAP Router External IP>/S/sapdp99/H/194.39.131.34/S/sapdp99/H/oss001

Hi all,

Do I really need to setup our own SAProuter if our firewall doesn't block any outbound IP address?

I've tried the following settings in OSS1 but still failed to connect.

SAProuter at SAP :-

Name : sapserv3 ( or sapserv7 or sapserv2)

IP address : 147.204.2.5 (or 194.39.134.35 or 194.39.131.34)

Instance no : 99

SAPNet Message Server

Name : oss001

DB Name : 001

Instance No : 01

I left the SAProuter1 and SAProuter2 (at customer site) blank.

Did I miss out anything?

I left the SAProuter1 and SAProuter2 (at customer site) blank.

You should enter at least one customer saprouter. You connect via your saprouter to the saprouter of SAP.

Kind regards,

Mark
