Hi All,
I have a fresh installation of SAP SR3 dual stack.I have now got instructions to install EHP4 on it.
My questions are as below.
1.Can I directly install EHP4 or first should I install EHP1 and then EHP4?
2.For dual stack which option should be selected?EHP4 for ERP 6.0 or EHP4 for ERP 6.0/NW 7.01.
Our environement is
Oracle 10.2.0.5
Windows Server 2008 64-bit
ECC 6.0 SR3 dual stack
RAM 8 GB.
Please also let me know the Harware resources required.
Regards,
Dinakar.

Hi,
Use your Solution Manager "Maintenance Optimizer" to generate the necessary files for EHP including stackfile.xml

Hi,
I have gone through the documents EHPI guide, master guide and Practical guide and Technical facts and notes 1156407 and 1165437,1165438.It is no where mentioned that EHP1 should be installed before EHP4.as per my understanding,we can directly install EHP4 and the required software packages and support pack stacks are suggested by solution manager maintenance optimizer.I am a little bit confused. Please confirm.
Regards,
Dinkar

Hi,
1. You have to first install EHP1 and then upgrade it to EHP4.
2. Dual Stack installations for productive use are not supported any more.
