I want to make an abap report for the shortages between the quqantities of the sales orders and the quantities of the deliveries. Is there any table that I can use to get that information?

To find the open quantities, why don't you use SAP standard report -t.code VA05 or VA05N?

You can use the tables VBAK, VBAP, VBEP and LIKP and LIPS
Also check the table VBBE for requirements
