Live auction link is not working

Hi ,

We went live with live auction months back . UAT completed smoothly but the client never actually used live auction functionality.

They however wnat to use it now .Now when I click on LIve auction link in auction (I have sucessfully created an auction and published it) , the page is not getting displayed.

The service bbp_auc_srm_ex is activated , i ve checked with basis and they say that the Live Auction Cockpit server is running .

Please guide me what could be the issue ? Please explain in detail as I never worked on Live auction earlier.

The page is opening but I am getting pop windor with the error saying 'you are not authorized to display the auction'

Any idea ?

Pl verify :

1) Whether LAC post installation steps done completely.

-- J2EE UME setup

-- SSO setup

2) Check whether appropriate role is assigned to user (e.g. Strategic purchaser). If you have customized a new role, then for testing, pl assign standard role and try.
