Send Alert message in user's mail box

How can i send an alert message in user's mailbox(suppose in his gmail id), apart from his alert inbox in RWB ?

Hi,

In ALRTCATDEF transaction, you can maintain list of Fixed Recipients. Here, you need to specify the user ids of persons to whom the email should go. for these user ids, if you maintain the email address in "E-Mail Address" field and Communication Method as "E-mail" then the alert mail will be sent to that email address.

For example:

You mention user id "USER01" as a Fixed Recipients in ALRTCATDEF.

Go to transaction SU01, enter user "USER01" and click on "Change"

Now add the desired email address and communication method and Save.
