I am writing a technical document regarding Node failure on a Cluster, and how to recover from it. I need some information or documents on what are the scenarios of failure of a node? Expert Please give your suggestions.

Depends on
- the cluster software used (Veritas? Microsoft Cluster? VMWare?)
- the database used
- the configuration of the cluster (active/active, active/passive etc.)
So there's no general advise how to recover from a node failure.
