ESS Travel Management User Interface limit characters displayed

Hi

We are using create expense report in ESS and wish to limit the number of characters displayed in the Start and End Locations on the Mileage screen. I have made changes at iview level personalized input fields TableUIElement0000LOC_FROM and TableUIElement0000LOC_TO by making entries:

Characters always visible = 10

Width of Input Field = 60

Marked final and applied

This has changed the first line to the size I want but if you add or copy an additional line this does not mirror the size of the first line and the field is large.

Is there a setting in the backend that needs to be done?

Hi Julie,

This is not really a recommended action. If you want to change the length of the field you need to change it directly in SE11 but this a modification and can create a inconsistency later on.
