Parked Document is being considered for Budget Check .....

Dear Experts

We are working on Funds Management-BCS.

When we are creating Parked Document, the Budget is not being checked and it is allowing us to create the parked document.

But we want the budget to be checked at the time of creation of parked document also.

Please do the needful by providing suitable solution.

Thanks and Regards

Hi Expert Team

I also would like to inform you that as per existing configuration settings 'Value Type - 60' for Parked Documents is not selected with Statistical update.

Thanks and Regards

Hi,

You mentioned, that 60 is not set as statistical... What is your update profile, though? Also, did you try to run FMAVCREINIT and check again + set a trace on FMDERIVE to verify that the FM address of the parked document is the one, you mean to have. And one more question: what SAP release are you with?

Eli

Hi Eli

Thank you for your immediate response.

We are using

Update Profile - 102

Release - 602-SAPKH60202

We also tested by activating the trace through FMDERIVE and Objects like Commitment Item, Fund Center, Fund are triggering, but Budget is not getting checked.

Please revert back.

Hi,

Is it parked document via FBV0? In this case, did it create budget consumption and just AVC message is not showing?

Eli

Hi Eli

We are aslo facing the same issue, while parking the invoice we are not getting any Budget AVC check but when we try to post the parked document through FBV0 we are getting Budget AVC check and Budget is consuming. Please suggest can we activate Budget AVC check at the time of document parking itself.

Please suggest the way, thanks in advance

Thanks

As far as I remember, FBV0 does not show AVC messages in certain cases (see note 573409).

Hi Eli

We have gone through the Note which you have suggested.

But we are using ECC 6.0 with Rlease 602. We have not found any suitable point in Note.

Out doubt is when the Value Group ' of Parked Documents is not marked with statistical, why the system is not doing AVC Check at the time of creating of parked document.

Please clarify.

Thanks and Regards

Hi,

Please, check the entry of this document in FMIFIIT table. Check if the line exists at all, if the statistical indicator is not set and if the FM address is correct.

Hello,

Parked documents do not create commitments/actuals at all. Only 'Save as Completed' will create VT 60 in FMIFIIT table and get checked by AVC.

Hi

As you suggested, we have checked and not found the parked document created in table FMIFIIT.

Please revert back.

Please, check in VBSEGS table if the FM address for this document is filled and that commitment item is of the type 30/3 or 30/2.

Eli

P.S. ...and as mentioned above by Ming, I assume, that this parked document is saved as 'complete (VBKPF-XPRFG is set to 'X')'; otherwise, obviously, you won't get any FM document.

Hi,

The document has to be SAVE AS COMPLETED. If you are not sure whether it is 'save as completed', just pull that document ' (FBV0), make sure you have a CI with 30/3 or 30/4 in one of the document lines, then CLICK 'SAVE AS COMPLETED' ICON and watch it appear in FMIFIIT.

Ming

Hi

The Commitment Item which we are using is with 30/3 only.

Here we are creating the Parked Document (Neither posting nor Completing).

We are expecting the system to do Budget AVC Check at this level itself i.e. at the time creation of Parked Document itself.

Please revert back.

The system checks availability only upon the completion.
