Dear Experts,
Currently we are attaching documents to business object using archive link feature through T code OAWD. We are facing following problems.
1)If I attach more than one documents to an SAP business object for same document type, all the documents are displayed with same name(name of Document type) in the attachment list.
Is there any way by which I can show the original file name as selected by user in list?
2) If file with same name is attached twice or thrice is it possible show files versions in attachment list?
3) Can we assign multiple files with different extensions to one Document Type? so that different files such PDF,EXL,WRD can attached with one Document Type. now we are able to attached only one format such as either PDF, EXL or WRD.
Needed your help & suggestionsu2026
Thanks in advanceu2026
Hello Sam Ra,
1-2) If you attach it from OAWD for the following 4 scenarios there is no standard solution for this:
Storing for subsequent entry
Storing for subsequent assignment
Store and enter
Store and assign
For the storing via GOS - New - Store business document scenario (Assign then store) please check note 1513057 and Wiki http://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/x/AI7_Eg
3) You have to configure the Generic Document Class for that document type, but in this case please make sure that the flag "Always copy Document Class from Document Type" is _unchecked_, because it can cause serious problems. And of course this scenario is not recommended at all. Note 1895984 and 1760519
Best regards,
Janos

Hi Sam
I have the same questions. Have you ever found out how to get this accomplished?
Thanks, Kirsten
