Hello i am trying to configure Alert Framework for the system :
i have configured rules etc , but i dont see any alert being generated when an application error is being generated in Moni.
i have seen through Slg1 for any logs but no logs found
Any clue ?? To let u know no CCMS configuration is done!!

Which SP patch are you on? If Sp14 and above, note 913858 has to be implemented.
if below SP14, mnake sure that the background procceses and End to End Monitoring has been activated.
If above SP14, and you have implemented note 913858 , then the next check is to see the Alert Server maintained in your ALRTCATDEF. We had an issue with the Alert Server. it has to be none and finally, make sure your Service User / XIRWB user has the authroizations to trigger alers.
