how to check IDM version and patch

Hello,

I know that IDM 7.1 is installed. But is there a way to check the exact version and the patch number.

Also how to update the latest patch. Please tell me the procedure in detail.

Hi Mahesh,

If you download the latest patch and extract the zip file, it has documentation on how to install the patches - basically, run the executables for each Design time, Run time and database then update the deployed components into the UI.

Like in ABAP system --> we go to System --> status..

You go to MMC -> select your IDStore, there you can see the database-version & schema version installed (although it does currently not show the correct version (I have SP5.3))

You have an SQL-script in Install-media/Database/DB-Type/mxmc-version.cmd which tells you the version of your db-schema for every IDStore you have.

You can go to http://ASJAVA/ -> System-Info and see the installed component version of the UI.

And at last, the IdM MMC & VDS Splash-Screens show the installed version.

An end user does not have the possiblity to check the IdM-version, I think.
