What is the MPS Planning Book??? What is difference between normal planning book and MPS Planning book??

Is it related to CTM??

Hi,

As per my understanding MPS planning book is for medium to long term planning.So it depends on the time bucket profile used in Planning book.If it is for medium to long term then you can assume that it is MPS planning book.Also it should be a SNP planning book since MPS is more about material planning and scheduling.

Not relly agree with you,for medium to long term planning we can use normal planning book.maby be it is used in CTM.

Still wanted some light on this topic.

Hi,

I think you can use the STD planning books for CTM also , for this you might need to add the CTM ATP categories to be added to the categoy grops used in planning areas.
