We have products assembled by the thousands. Once in a while engineering will make a change which, no matter how small, requires a pilot run of items not for release to satisfy FDA requirements. We would like to incorporate a pilot run while still producing the original, both retaining the same part number.
I am 85% technical and can make extensive code changes but wonder if SAP makes any allowances for accomplishing the process stated above..
