Hello experts,
I have a question regarding system copies.
We have been asked about making a fresh development system because a lot of old stuff exists on the development system, which never will be transported to production.
We are thinking about making a system copy of the production system backwards in the landscape, so that eventually development will be a copy of production.
- The new development system will then be scratched for production data and/or anonymized.
- The IMG will be exported/imported to the new development system.
But we have an issue with the version database, since this doesnu2019t exist on the production system.
Is it somehow possible to keep the version database after system copy on our new development system? Or is the above solution not the way to go?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Kenneth
