Hi Experts,
I came across SAP Note 1525329 which multilanguage splitting is not supported.
1) Is it possible to clone destination field, such as MAKTXT?
2) Can I add destination field MAKTXT to have a corresponding field name mapped to it?
3) The alternative way I have is to configure the adapter to have a condition, in such that EN language will only go to the MDM and other language will go directly to ECC. Will this setup work?
Many thanks!
Hi,
I am not quite sure what you mean by adding multilingual values.
Defining the languages of a repository is done in the MDM Console, by selecting the repository and adding languages.
The, certain types of fields can be defined as multilingual =yes in the fields level, also in MDM Console.
I hope that is what you meant.
If not, please explain.

Hedda Cohen.

Hi,
SAP NOTE 1525329 discussed the inability to syndicate multiligual attributes data (attributes are category dependent fields and are defined in the Taxonomy tables of MDM), as appose to syndicate multiligual fields data.
I'm not sure if MAKTXT falls under this MDM defintion?

Hedda.
