SAPlogon pad taking too long to load after applying patch 4 for SAP GUI 7.

Hi,

After applying Patch 4 for SAP GUI 7.2 , the SAP logon Pad takes over 5 minutes to load .

I am using Windows 7 machine, has anyone had this issue ??

no, we dont know this behaviour...

Is the behaviour the same also with the SAPLOGON.exe?

Where are the configuration files are stored?

Please pay attention to the note

maybe the ini and xml are stored in a wrong folder...

Helpfully is also a saplogon trace.

I Know this behaviour. I had it too.

It appears, when the folder, where the configuration files are stored, is not connected properly. We have disconnected the network share and connected it again; then it worked. Be aware, that it has to be a direct network connection
